๐Ÿ“ Activities:

  • Structural system selection: RCC, Steel, Composite, etc.
  • Design of:
    • Foundations (Isolated, Raft, Pile)
    • Columns, Beams, Slabs
    • Retaining walls, Staircases, etc.
  • Load calculation:
    • Dead load
    • Live load
    • Wind and seismic forces (as per IS 875, IS 1893, IS 456)

  • STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE

๐Ÿงพ Output:

  • Structural drawings
  • Reinforcement detailing (BBS – Bar Bending Schedule)
  • Structural stability report

Includes:

  • Plumbing & Sanitation
  • Electrical layout
  • HVAC (for buildings)
  • Drainage, stormwater, and fire safety systems

  • MEP drawings integrated with architectural/structural plans

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 5. Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation

  • BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
  • Rate analysis
  • Prepare cost estimate: material, labor, machinery, overheads
